Ancestry from tribal nations not yet listed in our database is expressed in match scores for the nearest genetic region in Part D of Standard and Premium Kit results. For instance, ancestry from tribal nations of the Southeastern United States such as the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, and Creek (Muskogee) is expressed in match scores for the North Amerindian genetic region. Ancestry from Southeastern tribes can also be expressed in match scores for the Mexican and Mayan genetic regions to reflect a pre-European migration from the west to east in this part of North America.
