HOW IS BOULDER COUNTY INVOLVED?

The Boulder County Transportation Department has contracted specifically with Asphalt Specialties in Henderson, CO, to pave a section of of North 63rd Street in Boulder County. The County is also planning to re-pave portions of some of their transportation facilities. With the advent of the Roofs To Roads initiative, Asphalt Specialties will be able to provide the paving for these projects using RAS. HOW IS ASPHALT SPECIALTIES INVOLVED? Asphalt Specialties has had the foresight to invest in a chopper machine specifically designed to process tear-off shingles. Through the contacts that Roofs To Roads has forged with the Boulder County Transportation Department and Asphalt Specialties representatives, a coalition has been formed to deliver the Roofs To Roads Project.  more
