How is Chlamydia spread and contracted?
Chlamydia is generally spread through sexual contact – oral, vaginal or anal – with a partner affected with the STD. Women who are pregnant and contract Chlamydia may spread the disease to their child’s eyes and respiratory tracts during delivery. Babies infected are in danger of contracting pneumonia and developing conjunctivitis.
