How is data encrypted on storage for IDrive for Windows?

0

All data stored on the IDrive servers is encrypted using a secure key with a password known only to you. IDrive uses industry standard AES 256-bit encryption* on storage – ideal for higher security needs of Financial, Healthcare and Government organizations. WARNING: IDrive does not store the user-supplied password anywhere on its servers. It is recommended that you memorize the password and take a hard copy and archive it in at a safe location. However, if you select the Default encryption option, there is no need to remember the password. Without this encryption key, you will not be able to retrieve data.
