How is data encrypted on storage?

0

All data stored on the IDrive-E servers is encrypted using a secure key with a user supplied password known only to the end user. IDrive-E uses industry standard AES 256-bit encryption* on storage ideally suited for higher security needs of Financial, Healthcare and Government organizations. WARNING: Please note that IDrive-E DOES NOT store the user-supplied password anywhere on its servers and it is therefore highly recommended that users memorize the password and also take a hard copy of the user-supplied password to archive it in a safe location. Without this encryption password, users will not be able to retrieve data.
