How is my childs therapy structured?
In our pediatric setting collaboration with the family, therapists and others involved with the childs healthcare management is critical. We work with the family and other providers in reciprocal sharing of information to establish individual goals providing a framework for the childs therapy course and planning towards discharge. The therapists instruct care givers in home programs that provide repetition for the learning and integration of the therapy goals. Our practice and philosophy guides the family and therapist towards efficient integration to home and community.
