How is opium made out of poppy seeds?
I am a former chef and and as the first person said it is the resin from the flower head, not the seed, the black/blue seeds that we see in pastrys are a different variety altogehter. These TV show’s (ie; Seinfeld) were they consumed them and then get tested are a round about story, it does not happen that your system has trace amounts of opiates to make the results claim you to have taken or somke a opium based narcotic. I have a firend who is a food scientist and has done blood and other analysis and found it a false reading.
