How is Pearl Harbor Yacht Club affiliated with Rainbow Bay Marina?
Pearl Harbor Yacht Club is a private organization that is recognized by the Commander, Naval Region Hawaii. As such, PHYC is authorized to conduct activities on government property and receive limited support from the Navy and MWR (subject to a host of regulations). PHYC does not own any boats or have any boat slips. You do not have to be a member of PHYC to use Rainbow Bay Marina or rent boats or a slip at Rainbow Bay Marina. That said, it’s PHYC’s mission to support sailing activities for the Navy and community in general using Rainbow Bay Marina as our home port. We strive to be both good patrons and supporters of Rainbow Bay Marina and maintain a close, friendly and mutually beneficial relationship with our fine hosts at Rainbow Bay Marina.
