How is Public Health Solutions District Health Department funded?
The Public Health Solutions District Health Department is funded in several ways. The initial creation of the health department was funded by the Nebraska Tobacco Settlement Bill, LB 692. This bill will continue to partially fund this health department as well as many other health agencies across the state for 23 more years. Public Health Solutions is also funded by writing grants and doing contract work with other organizations.
