How is Reconnective Healing different from other forms of energy healing such as Reiki, Jin Shin, Johrei, Qi Gong, and Pranic Healing?
Dr. Gary E.R. Schwartz, PhD, and Dr. Linda G.S. Russek, PhD, of the University of Arizona compared Reconnective Healing with other energy-healing modalities. Dr. Pearl and practitioners from other classical, well-known, energy healing traditions (as well as ordinary people for a control group) participated in the same experiments. Dr. Pearl concludes, based on his participation in these experiments, that Reconnective Healing compares to other forms of energy healing like the brilliance of a car’s headlights compares to the flicker of a candle. He states that all forms of energy healing are valid and appropriate, but some forms of energy healing are more appropriate than others depending on the need.
