These systems involve operating a warehouse or other entity that receives, stores and ships medication, which can involve significant start-up and capital costs. • Rx Partnership is innovative in the nation because it is the only bulk medication model that uses what can be most simply described as a broker system. In this innovative model, an independent third party is created to serve as a broker between pharmaceutical manufacturers and existing free clinics and community health centers in Virginia, providing a low-cost solution that significantly leverages limited resources.
