How is salvage processed?

0

When salvage comes into our business for processing, the first step is to inventory the entire cars Good re-useable parts from the top to the bottom, and everything in between, including the ownership manual. All of our stock is inventoried and pre-priced for our countermen. Once a vehicle is inventoried into the system the car is moved to the dismantling area where our dismantlers strip the car of all environmental contaminants and pre-determined auto parts for warehouse storage. Our parts dismantlers test every part before it can be sold to our customers. The car body is then moved into the yard where it will remain until such time as designated Scrap. Any remaining inventory on the car body will be deleted from our computer and moved to our crush pile. Eventually, usually in July our crush pile is sold to a scrap business for further recycling.
