How is Summit different from Interlibrary Loan?

The Summit catalog allows you to search and request materials from thirty-six Pacific Northwest universities and colleges and community colleges. Requests are received through WorldCat Navigator and directed to a member library where the item is currently available. The Alliance is currently partnered with OCLC in the development of a new catalog using WorldCat Navigator. ILL requests are processed by library staff and sent to institutions across the country and sometimes across borders. The OSU Libraries pays for the cost of borrowing books and providing articles. Your ILL account is separate from your circulation account.
