During a regular massage, you receive a manipulation of muscle tissue. During Thai yoga bodywork, we manipulate the energy lines of the body and also stretch and move you in different ways. Thai yoga bodywork combines massage, assisted yoga poses, acupressure, energy work, and meditation to unblock energy, relieve tension, and increase our body’s natural ability to heal itself. If you feel you are holding a lot of tension in particular muscle sections, you will probably benefit more from a regular massage. If you are feeling low in energy, somehow stuck, generally stressed out, or stiff and inflexible, you will probably benefit more from a Thai yoga bodywork session.
