The Advanced Mission Display System(AMDS) requires the installation of a mounting bracket for the cockpit devices, and the associated cabling and antenna systems. The system consists of two cockpit terminals (keyboard included), a central power supply and a processing box in the electronics bay, and antenna and a communications transceiver unit. The latter is installed close to the antenna, at around mid-ship position, depending on the aircraft type and the individual STC.
