How is the beach at dreams resort in Cabo San Lucas?
The beaches are pretty nice in that area. At least you can go out to swim in them on that side of the peninsula. I’m not sure what it’s like exactly where the resort is (I stayed down in Cabo itself). But, that’s right around where they took us to go on a snorkeling trip. On the Pacific side, it’s definitely too rough and you’re pretty much stuck with the pool. The sand around Cabo is very coarsely ground shells. So, it can be kind of sharp to walk on barefoot. Plus, it’s like fluffy, and you sink down into it quite a bit when you walk on it. And, the entry into the water is very steep sand. So, it can be a bit difficult to get into and out of the water without getting knocked down by the close-out waves. You’ll be about 10 miles from Cabo San Lucas, so unless you take a taxi or shuttle somewhere, you’re pretty much relegated to the resort. And, they’re not cheap ($10 – $12 into town each way). But, that’s why places in that area are all-inclusive. There’s no other place to go without
