How is the cold cranking rating different from a cranking rating?

Cranking amps are a measurment of how many amps a battery can provide 1.2 volts per cell (7.2V for a 12 volt battery) at 32°F

 

Cold Cranking amps follow the same measurement criteria, but is rated at a temperature of 0°F
