How is the Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) calculated in ExpatMonitor?

0

The system has been built to use by default, Mercer’s spendable income tables and options together with any of Mercer’s Cost of Living indices. When entering the policy details (i.e. the calculation steps or default rules) into ExpatMonitor you can specify which Cost of Living index and spendable income option you want to apply as a default. It is also possible to use other sources of information for calculation. This is particularly useful during a transition process from one provider to another to quantify the impact of the change and to evaluate the results from the various options available.
