How is the CPD program enforced by the Board?
The requirements of the CPD program are prescribed in sections 31(3) and 48(5) of the Real Estate and Business Agents Act 1978 (the Act) and Regulations 4AA, 4AB, 4AC and Schedule 1A of the Real Estate and Business Agents (General) Regulations 1979 (the Regulations). As stated in the Act, the Board reserves the right to refuse to renew a licensee’s triennial certificate or sales representative’s certificate of registration if the CPD requirements have not been met.
