How is the Kellogg Foundation using mission-driven investing?
It’s an experiment – an attempt of find a way to use the free-enterprise system to advance our mission and benefit society. The emphasis is on joining the forces of our investment, finance and program staff to develop a plan for earning income – meeting or exceeding performance benchmarks by asset category – while advancing our mission. For every transaction or deal, we plan to have a social impact.
