How is the MKS different from a bug zapper?

0

A bug zapper operates by using light as its attractant for all types of insects including beneficial insects but ultimately attract very few mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are not attracted to light therefore the MKS does not use light as an attractant. However, mosquitoes do have infrared vision, therefore the fluctuating heat chamber in the MKS does use the mosquitoes thermal imagery to attract them to the trap.
