How is the money from the Endangered Resources License Plate used?

0

The money from the $25 contributed to each Endangered Resources license plate is used to support the program’s conservation fund account. The Endangered Resources conservation fund has two main sources of revenue: the Endangered Resources license plate and the voluntary Wisconsin income tax check-off program. General gifts to the Endangered Resources Program and money generated through the income tax check-off are matched 1:1 by state revenue up to $500,000.
