The plan shows the need for a trail linking Highway 287 and an existing trail along the Davidson Highline Ditch. It appears that this trail can be accommodated by preserving the existing stand of mature cottonwoods on the north border of the proposed Supercenter site. It is also important to note that the Citys Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 2003, designates this property as appropriate for commercial development. Most of the property is zoned to allow commercial or industrial uses.
