How is the race day run?
Qualifying: Qualifying consists of three five minute rounds per class. Each qualifying round contains eight to ten heats depending on racer turnout. There are three minutes between each heat to get the racers checked in and ready to go as well as for the marshals to get to their spots . After the three minutes have expired, we will start the race. We HAVE to stick to this schedule to keep the program running smoothly. If you miss the start of your qualifier, you can join in at any time. Although you will miss some laps, this will provide an excellent opportunity for timed practice. Don’t worry if you miss the start of a qualifier, there are two other qualifiers to get in a good run. We use a driver’s single fastest qualifying run to set up the mains. Main Events: The length of the main event will vary depending on how you qualify. Most mains are five minutes, but the A-mains are normally longer if time permits.
