How is the Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries Governed?

• The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries is governed by a Board of Trustees which sets the goals and policies, and, through the Executive Director, directs and supports the affairs of the organization. The Board of Trustees may consist of up to fifteen members; up to five of whom may be clergy from among the local Clergy Associations. Members of the Board of Trustees may serve up to three consecutive two year terms. The Executive Director serves as an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees. The officers of the Board include a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer who are elected by the Board for a one year term at the annual meeting in January. Meetings of the Board of Trustees are held monthly. The Partnership Coordinator works to bring services to our patrons.
