How is the Spheris Training Track different from the normal Career Step training program?

0

All Career Step students are required to complete the same foundation curriculum. The Spheris Training Track and the standard Career Step training program differ primarily in the practicum portion of the training program. Students who are accepted into the Spheris Training Track will be exposed to Spheris client dictation sound files which will augment, and in some cases replace, portions of the Career Step standard practicum. As a general rule, the Spheris Training Track will require more acute care practice transcription than the standard Career Step training program. It may also include some exposure to the Spheris transcription platform during the training period.
