How is the Vigilant ductless split system designed?
This cooling system is comprised of two parts, the evaporator and the condenser. The evaporator hangs on the wall inside your wine cellar. Through a small hole in the wine cellar wall, the evaporator is connected to the condenser by two small liquid/suction lines, a power cord and a thermostat line. The condenser which generates the heat and condensation, as well as noise, sits up to 40′ away in the mechanical room, unfinished basement, or outside on a slab. This offers greater flexibility with respect to the placement of the wine cellar cooling system itself.
