How is this kind of collaboration different from directing a traditional music video?
I don’t really find it that different. I love post and spend a lot of time on all my projects working with talented digital artists. Whether I’m working with colorists, editors, flame ops or programmers, it’s a very similar dynamic. The Wilderness Downtown and The Johnny Cash Project just have an additional step of constructing a website from scratch to house them, which adds at least another two months onto your timeline.
