How is this online course similar to and different from a traditional accounting course?
This online accounting course is a 16-week, structured course just like a traditional accounting course with defined assignment due dates. This online course in accounting covers the same content as a traditional accounting course. In addition to reading your assigned text material, the course information that is generally presented by the instructor in a classroom will instead be supplied to you as written text which you will be expected to read. Course assignments are then completed on your own, as they would be in a traditional course. However, it will be your responsibility to submit your assignments to your instructor using any one of several methods designated by your instructor (usually as a word processing or spreadsheet file attached to an email, uploaded to a drop box on the course homesite, or hand delivered to your instructor’s office).
