How large is the staff at the Archives? Can the archivist handle the volume of records?
The archivist will have use of an intern to help during the summer months, but the AKC currently has only one archivist on staff. She was employed as the Project Archivist at the University of Pennsylvania Archives where she arranged collections as large as 80 cubic feet. She has the experience and knowledge to handle large volume collections. Depending upon the response to this initiative and future use of the archives, an increase in the staff in this area is a distinct possibility.
