HOW LONG CAN GOLDFISH SURVIVE OUT OF WATER?
I think one should begin by saying that it is cruel to intentionally keep a fish out of water for more than a minute or two. Goldfish can survive for up to 15 to 20 minutes out of water, so it is always worth seeing if an apparently dead fish may come back to life. You should put them back into their original water as soon as possible. If they dont signs of life then cup them gently in your hand and move them round the tank under the water to get the water flowing across their gills.
