How long do lymph nodes swell for?
This is true lymph nodes only (typically) swell to combat an infection in your body…I recommend that you see a physician as well…the lymph nodes are part of a network (the lymphatic system) that produces white blood cells which will attack foreign particles circulating in your body…so if untreated they could remain swollen until your body, if possible, has fought off what ever is eliciting the response…another circumstance in which they may swell is in a case of lymphoma which is a growth originating in the lymph nodes.
