How long do premature babies usually spend in intensive care?
Afternoon, If Sapphire was premature, they normally keep her in until her due date. My Son was four weeks early and as a rule I was told he would be allowed home in a month, they were right. You have rights as her parents you should be allowed to go and see her in the mornings & evenings, not sure about lunch times. I made sure I was there for my Sons morning feeds and evening kiss, cuddle and story (me telling him things, you know what I mean. I am sure you are telling Sapphire the same things) But if you can’t get to see her due to other family commitments then don’t beat yourself up, save the energy for when she comes home.
