How long do the withdrawal symptoms of Lexapro last?
Wow, I am surprised at that first heartless answer…and with the person that asked the question, I have no idea what religion has to do with going off an anti-anxiety/depression med. To the original asker: I was recently weaned off 10mg of Lexapro due to being pregnant, I weaned EXACTLY as my doctor told me to do and still got withdrawal symptoms…about day 3 after finishing my last dose I started feeling the brain zaps and the horrible upset stomach. I am now about 6 days post last dose and feel even worse, however all the research I have done and read about says that it should go away in 7 to 10 days once you start having the symptoms. Hang in there, I am right there with you!
