How long do vendors have to complete an evaluation after being approved?
If a product is approved by the Product Selection Committee, vendors must actively work with NIMS STEP staff to schedule and complete an evaluation within six months of the approval date. If an evaluation is not scheduled within the alloted timeframe or a vendor chooses not to proceed with an evaluation after being approved, NIMS STEP staff will cancel the evaluation. A new application will be required by the vendor in order to be re-considered for an evaluation.
