Just because you get turned down does NOT mean someone is able to work! How rude of the other answers! Many people get turned down for simple reasons such as not filling in the forms correctly or holding back how bad their condition is! YES it IS worth appealing and trying to re claim (almost 95 per cent get rejected! There are people who cannot walk who get rejected. The system is complicated and the forms are very confusing!) It’s worth appealing the first time but after the second time, it’s probably not worth doing it again and again and again! :0) There are simply some people who do not get it or their condition is not deemed bad enough. (|Did you know that blind people can’t get DLA but deaf people can lol) You also need to make sure you have written back up from your GP, Psych if it applies, Physio or Specialist AND make sure your filling in the form correctly AND that you are honest about how bad the condition can get (many people hold back, tell themselves *oh I can cope* or *
