It depends on when you start and how many credits you still need. If you went into online school in grade 9, starting fresh without any prior high school credit, it’d take the ‘standard’ four years (grade 9, grade 10, grade 11, and grade 12) assuming you pass all the courses the first time around and you stay on track for graduation. Credit-load per year would depend, again, on how many credits you still need. How long it takes to get your diploma would depend on what courses you still have to take, how many credits are required versus how many you still need, and how well you do work. Some schools allow early graduation – if you work well enough and fast enough, they may allow earlier graduation. Obviously, an online high school won’t give you ‘classroom’ teaching; more likely that they’d give you online-classroom teaching – virtual environments and all of that.
