Well, it takes around 120 days, which is just about 4 months. It depends on where you live, though. An average is around 100-160 days. If you live in an apartment and you don’t want your little watermelon plant to get stepped on, I suggest you walk around your apartment and find a “secret hideout”. It can just be among the bushes, a small circular soil-covered clearing among the thorny bushes. Once you’ve found your secret hideout, go home and plant your seed. Don’t plant your seed in a super huge and big pot. Just a little pot the size of your palm will do. If you want to speed up the watermelon growth, plant the seed first, and as it sprouts then go and find a secret hideout. Keep your watermelon seed sprouting in your pot until it has been sprouting for one month. Then take your pot to the secret hideout and replant the seed into the hideout carefully.
