We suggest placing the meals in the refrigerator to thaw one to two days before they are needed. DO NOT THAW ANY FOOD AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. This can easily cause foodborne illness and it is very dangerous. To thaw quickly, you may place the aluminum pans or ziploc bags in cold (not hot or warm) water for a maximum period of 2 hours. If food is not defrosted completely, you will need to increase the cooking times until the meal reaches the required internal temperature.
