Staff was asked by Council in December 2007 to begin research on the feasibility of developing a waste to energy facility at the former Barnet Landfill site. A study on the feasibility of a waste to energy facility at the Barnet Highway Landfill site was presented to Council on June 24, 2008. A copy of the study is available here.
