How long is a couple married before they're no longer considered "newlyweds"?

It's all relative. I've been married for nearly 12 years, so I would say that someone who was married up to 3 years would be still newlyweds and still figureing out this 'marriage thing' My husband's grandparents have been married for 60 years (no sh!t, 60 years) and they say that people that are married up to 10 years are newlyweds, still figuring out this 'marriage thing'. So it's all relative hunny. You can be a newlywed for 50 years trying to figure out this marriage thing....  more
