How long is alabama tax refunds taking this year for e file direct deposit?
Well, I filed on 2/1/09 and was accepted on 2/3/09. When I go to Alabama tax refund website it says the same thing. “Your tax refund has been approved and will be issued in the due course of business.” I hope also that their “due course of business” is not 3 to 6 months from now. I don’t know about anyone else, but I need my money now. They have held it long enough and made enough interest off of it, now it is time to return it. I just hope they don’t wait and come up with the lame excuse that they don’t have enough money received to warrant issuing the refunds. Time will tell. I called Alabama and they said they were taking 2 weeks. Well, it has been two weeks for me……still no direct deposit.
