How long is Bronchitis contagious?
If you have had a flu or virus that turned into Bronchitis that is (flu or virus) what is contagious… In other words, you probably gotten the flu or a virus from some one else and then that developed into a bacterial infection (bronchitis). The infection is not contagious however, the virus that you had at the beginning is…. If you have been taking the antibiotic for 24 hours or more you should not be contagious anymore however, if you have a fever the virus (flu) you still may have then you can still give it to someone else.. Bronchitis is secondary to the initial virus or flu bug you caught… So do not kiss or drink or eat from someone else’s glass or food bowl. Cover you mouth when you cough. Wash you hands frequently so you won’t spread the germs around…Use your own towel when you wash your hands…. you will most likely be contagious for a couple more days. Feel Better ok…
