How long is the entire flea life cycle?
Fleas have a four part life cycle: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The entire life cycle of a flea can range from as little as just a couple of weeks to approximately two year. Two important factors that help determine the life cycle of a flea are the ability to find food soon after hatching and environmental factors such as the temperature and humidity. Fleas are able to survive for long periods of time without feeding, by remaining in an extended pupal stage.
