A. It could take you from 8 to 12 hours, depending on your fitness level. There are some important things to consider before attempt to climb a peak. Make sure that you are in good physical condition and in good shape for the climb. Watch for afternoon thunderstorms that appear most afternoons in the Rockies. Lightning can be a serious problem when caught on an exposed peak. Read a guidebook or call the local Ranger District where you'll be climbing to obtain more information.
