How long will the candies last?

Every order we send comes with a care sheet, but we’ve had inquires asking this question that helps our customers figure out when to place their order. All of the products are made with fresh ingredients, no preservatives, therefore they are quite perishable. We recommend you refrigerate the truffles as they will last longer. The truffles can last up to a month in the refrigerator, but only about 1-2 weeks safely non-refrigerated. The problem with not using preservatives is that when the candy is enrobed in chocolate, the moisture of the milkfats in the cream are then encased and can begin to grow undesirable bacteria. It is entirely possible this wouldn’t happen after a month of non-refrigeration, but we don’t recommend it. It’s recommended to enjoy the truffles when they are at their most fresh, which is why we make every batch to order.
