How many 6-foot round banquet tables can I fit in a 1500 sq ft room?

You could comfortably fit 15 tables into this area. Each table takes up approx. 28.3 square feet. You allow an extra 3 feet to the diameter of each table for the movement of the chairs in and out. You then allow about 2 to 3 ft for a clear walk space between tables, so the theoretical diameter is actually 9ft. +/-. Now allow for side tables, and other ornaments, as well as easy ingress and egress and you have approx. 10 square feet per table.
