Okay, here’s my plug: Don’t put them together! Bettas are awesome fish and should not be subjected to the scum that those frogs are. I thought they looked cool too, those chubby bodies and vacant eyes, but after putting my female betta in with a frog and a ghost shrimp, I will never get one of those blasted frogs ever again. The frog, despite buying the sinking pelets and putting them right in its face when feeding, ate my shrimp. It ate my live plant. It tried to eat my betta. My betta died because the frog ripped all her beautiful fins off and she got sick and could barely swim. And then, the bugger went and got himself caught in the filter and his leg broke. I’d never had any problem with that filter before with any of my other fish/critters. And then I was out of fish. /rant That aside, since you really want them together, you could probably do 4-5 frogs in with your betta. Just make sure to feed the frogs well. 10 gallons is pretty roomy, so you could have some fun and plant it ni
