Canada and Yukon, together with the Association of Yukon Communities (AYC) and Yukon First Nations, signed the Agreement which outlines how Yukon’s share of federal gas tax revenues will be used to respond to the needs of Yukon communities. As a result, Yukon First Nations receive 25%, communities receive 68%, and the Yukon government on behalf of unincorporated Yukon receives 7% of the Yukon allocation for Gas Tax fund.
