How many days, weeks and months will be measured and reported with the Local People Meter service in Boston?
Our LPM customers will have access to next-day household and demographic overnights for every day throughout the year. This daily overnight reporting will continue to be accessible through the Galaxy Navigator system. Our decision to keep the Boston market on the same schedule as other TV markets essentially drove the Nielsen calendar for the monthly survey dates. For the first year of LPM service in Boston, we will publish 12 monthly printed reports that cover 44 weeks during the year. The eight weeks that will not be included in the monthly bound books for 2002 are: March 28-April 10 (these weeks are demonstration data), May 23-29; June 27-July 10; Sept 19-25; Oct 24-30; and Dec 26-Jan 1, 2003. Keep in mind all 52 weeks will still be available through the Galaxy Navigator system, beginning in May 2002. We are investigating additional delivery options for a weekly demographic offering covering all 52 weeks. Well notify our Boston subscribers as other delivery options become available.
